Overview

The ACORD P&C Submission Bridge MCP server enables AI agents to translate broker submissions into ACORD P&C v2.10-compliant messages for carrier intake across US and UK markets.

About ACORD

ACORD (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) is the global insurance data standards body. ACORD P&C defines the canonical XML message formats for property and casualty insurance transactions — new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations.

How it works

The server accepts a structured broker submission (coverage requirements, risk details, insured information) and maps it to the appropriate ACORD P&C v2.10 transaction set. The resulting ACORD XML can be forwarded directly to any ACORD-compliant carrier endpoint.

Supported transaction types

  • New Business — ACORD 130 (Commercial Lines Application)
  • Endorsement — ACORD 175 (Change Request)
  • Cancellation — ACORD 35 (Cancellation / Non-Renewal Request)

Prerequisites

  • Node.js ≥ 18
  • Carrier ACORD endpoint credentials (varies by carrier)
